Meet Location: Assigned by team leader Start Time: Approximately 8:00 a.m. (varies by team) End Time: Approximately 2:00-3:00 p.m., followed by potluck supper at 6:00 p.m. Registration: Required by December 4. Contact Bruce Wilson. Accessibility: Varies by location. Details: Join birders of all experience levels for Nature Barrie's annual Christmas Bird Count. Participants are assigned to one of nine teams, each led by an experienced leader who will determine the meeting location and route. Beginners are paired with experienced birders whenever possible. Following the count, participants gather for a potluck supper to compile results and share highlights from the day.

TRIPS

A number of BFNC members have volunteered their time and expertise to bring you a great outdoor trip program. As usual we have some old favourites and some really exciting new ones. Although birds are a focus there will be something for every interest. Please join them in exploring the natural history of Simcoe county. MEETINGS

All regular meetings are held at Northwest Barrie United Church, 464 Ferndale Drive North, Barrie and start at 7:00pm.. Meetings are held in the Westennial Hall at the back of the church. Park in the big lot off Horsfield Drive..
