Accessibility: Mostly flat trails, boardwalk, with some gentle hills at some locations.
Details: The Barrie waterfront often hosts impressive numbers of migrating waterfowl and occasionally rare species such as Little, Iceland, and Glaucous Gulls. Grebes, Long-tailed Ducks, Red-throated Loons, Pacific Loons, and thousands of Common Loons are possible, along with raptors including Bald Eagles and Peregrine Falcons. A spotting scope is helpful but not essential. We will drive to two additional locations along the South shore.
