Meet Location: Simcoe County Forest Museum Tract (1180 Snow Valley Rd, Minesing, ON), Trailhead parking is the unpaved lot behind (South of) the museum parking lot.

Accessibility: Mostly flat trails, with some gentle hills.

Details: Curious about birds? Come explore with us! Everyone is welcome - no experience required! Join us for a relaxed, beginner-friendly bird walk and discover the birds and nature that call Barrie home. Learn how to identify common local birds and how free apps can make birding fun and easy. Download the free Merlin Bird ID and iNaturalist apps before the walk; a smartphone is helpful but not required. Bring binoculars if you have them (but we’ll have tips for those without!) and, most importantly, bring your curiosity! All ages and families are welcome, and beginners are especially encouraged to join.
