Join Nature Barrie for its 75th Anniversary Celebration at Northwest United Church in Barrie. The evening's presentation will be " Observing Nature By Canoe & Kayak" with renowned naturalist, award-winning photographer and educator Michael Runtz. As his expert guidance steers you through the Northeastern waterways, he'll share his deep passion and extensive knowledge for the residents of the natural world. With every paddle stroke, a new realm of life, colour and wonder will be revealed. Copies of Michaels’s new book" Observing Nature By Canoe & Kayak " will be available for sale, $25 cash, at the meeting.

All regular meetings are held at Northwest Barrie United Church, 464 Ferndale Drive North, Barrie. Doors open at 6:45pm and the meeting starts at 7:00pm. Meetings are held in Westennial Hall at the back of the church. Park in the big lot off of Horsfield Drive Remember to "LUG-A-MUG" for your beverages.

TRIPS

A number of BFNC members have volunteered their time and expertise to bring you a great outdoor trip program. As usual we have some old favourites and some really exciting new ones. Although birds are a focus there will be something for every interest. Please join them in exploring the natural history of Simcoe county. Check our Facebook page for any last minute changes or check with the trip leader or Jim Coey NB trip coordinator
