Come out and enjoy this day-long event celebrating the biodiversity of Tiny Marsh. A BioBlitz is a series of guided 1 to 3 hour walks where, with the help of knowledgeable naturalists, you count all the species (birds, insects, pollinators, plants, dragonflies, mammals, etc.) found during each outing. This family friendly event is a great opportunity to explore and learn about the natural world found within Tiny Marsh. For $10 per Adult, $5 for Youth (16 and under), Children under 5 free, participants can go on as many outings you would like, a BBQ lunch is provided and a BioBlitz t-shirt. TRIPS

A number of BFNC members have volunteered their time and expertise to bring you a great outdoor trip program. As usual we have some old favourites and some really exciting new ones. Although birds are a focus there will be something for every interest. Please join them in exploring the natural history of Simcoe county. MEETINGS

All regular meetings are held at Northwest Barrie United Church, 464 Ferndale Drive North, Barrie and start at 7:00pm.. Meetings are held in the Westennial Hall at the back of the church. Park in the big lot off Horsfield Drive..
