IMPORTANT CHANGE: Spring Birds in the Minesing Floodlands Download as iCal file

Saturday 02 April 2016, 08:45am

IMPORTANT! There is construction at the Bradford Greenhouses so we CANNOT meet or carpool from that location. Everyone please meet at Little Lake Park parking lot at the deadend of Little Lake Drive in Barrie. (Access from Cundles Road East via J.C. Massie Way, see Google Maps) Our first stop will be McKinnon Road in Angus, so people coming from the west may make their own carpooling arrangements and join our caravan there.

The Extensive spring flooding in Minesing Wetlands makes it a magnet for migrating waterfowl. Northern Pintail, Tundra Swans, and Sandhill Cranes are likely sightings, along with a few early songbirds, such as Tree Swallows. BRING RUBBER BOOTS.
Driving and standing. Usually ends by 1:00pm.

Location Departs from LLPL 8:45AM. Our first stop will be McKinnon Road in Angus, so people coming from the west may meet there.
