Speaker: Ron Tozer Author of the definitive "Birds of Algonquin Park" Published in 2012 Ron's book presents accounts of all 278 species of birds known to have occurred within the park boundaries. Ron is uniquely qualified in this regard as he was the Park's Naturalist for 25 Yrs. He also was a co-editor of Ontario Birds and chair of the Ontario Bird Rec-ords Committee. Most recently Ron was honoured by the Ontario Field Ornithologists who presented him with their Distinguished Ornithologist Award. This promises to be a highly informative and entertaining evening.

TRIPS

A number of BFNC members have volunteered their time and expertise to bring you a great outdoor trip program. As usual we have some old favourites and some really exciting new ones. Although birds are a focus there will be something for every interest. Please join them in exploring the natural history of Simcoe county. MEETINGS

All regular meetings are held at Northwest Barrie United Church, 464 Ferndale Drive North, Barrie and start at 7:00pm.. Meetings are held in the Westennial Hall at the back of the church. Park in the big lot off Horsfield Drive..
