Speaker: John Riley NCC. Author of “The Once and Future Great Lakes” This year it is the turn of the Orillia Naturalist Club to host the inter-club meeting; a good turnout would be appreciated. John’s book is a history of environmental change in the Great Lakes Region. He is the senior advisor to the Nature Conservancy of Canada.

Interested Barrie Area People: Please be Green and carpool to this event if possible. Meet at 6:30 PM at Little Lake Parking Lot to carpool for 6:45 PM sharp departure to Orillia for Joint Meeting.

TRIPS

A number of BFNC members have volunteered their time and expertise to bring you a great outdoor trip program. As usual we have some old favourites and some really exciting new ones. Although birds are a focus there will be something for every interest. Please join them in exploring the natural history of Simcoe county. MEETINGS

All regular meetings are held at Northwest Barrie United Church, 464 Ferndale Drive North, Barrie and start at 7:00pm.. Meetings are held in the Westennial Hall at the back of the church. Park in the big lot off Horsfield Drive..
