Andee Pelan is the Stewardship Technician for the Lake Simcoe Regional Conservation Authority. She will talk about the various creeks flowing through Barrie and the impact that they have on Lake Simcoe. This is timely considering all the work the City has been doing around and to many of our creeks as well as developers building along their edges. A chance to learn about creeks you may never have known ran right by your doorstep

TRIPS

A number of BFNC members have volunteered their time and expertise to bring you a great outdoor trip program. As usual we have some old favourites and some really exciting new ones. Although birds are a focus there will be something for every interest. Please join them in exploring the natural history of Simcoe county. Check our Facebook page for any last minute changes or check with the trip leader or Jim Coey NB trip coordinator

MEETINGS

All regular meetings are held at Northwest Barrie United Church, 464 Ferndale Drive North, Barrie and start at 7:00pm.. Meetings are held in the Westennial Hall at the back of the church. Park in the big lot off Horsfield Drive..
