May 13, May 17, May 21, May 25, May 29 & June 2 Contact Ileen Sabean During spring and fall migration, Chimney Swifts congregate at communal roosts at dusk and can often be seen entering roost chimneys in large groups shortly after sunset. Join the SwiftWatch Team & help count Chimney Swifts entering Barrie’s 5 roost chimneys. Like many “aerial insectivores” Chimney Swifts have seriously declined in Canada, and our club has undertaken a monitoring role in town. TRIPS

A number of BFNC members have volunteered their time and expertise to bring you a great outdoor trip program. As usual we have some old favourites and some really exciting new ones. Although birds are a focus there will be something for every interest. Please join them in exploring the natural history of Simcoe county. MEETINGS

All regular meetings are held at Northwest Barrie United Church, 464 Ferndale Drive North, Barrie and start at 7:00pm.. Meetings are held in the Westennial Hall at the back of the church. Park in the big lot off Horsfield Drive..
