DESCRIPTION:CHRISTMAS BIRD COUNT and POTLUCK SUPPER\n\n\nEvery year BFN club members an
 d other birders join to together to count the birds in a clearly defined ar
 ea in and around Barrie. The area is divided into sections and each section
  is looked after by a leader who assigns the counters to teams and each tea
 m is given a specific area within the section. Then the fun begins. Startin
 g around 8.00 am, the count generally lasts until about 3 to 4 pm with a br
 eak for lunch. Team leaders determine meeting places and start times and te
 am composition.\n Afterwards counters meet to discuss results and compare n
