 participate in the Christmas Bird Census, contact Chris Evans (705) 722-113
 6. Participants must register with Chris no later than December 10th. Chris
  will then distribute participants (Both beginners and experts) among 9 gro
 ups, each with a leader. The group leaders will establish their meeting poi
 nts. These teams of birders will then survey a section within a 7.5-mile ra
 dius of Barrie and record individual numbers and species of birds during th
 e day of the 16th. This is one of the most exciting and fun events of the y
 ear!!!  <br /><br />Potluck Dinner after the Count<br />A potluck supper wi
 ll be held after the count at the Northwest Barrie United Church.  The door
 s open at 6:00 p.m., meal will commence at 6:30 p.m. After dinner the team 
 results of the census will be presented to the membership.  <br />Bring a d
 ish for our Pot Luck Supper. Contact Christine Beggs (705) 721-6842 for Pot
  Luck queries. (It always works out!) Bring your own plate and cutlery and 
 a contribution to the supper.<br />
