 </p>
X-EXTRAINFO:Mark Peck manages the ornithology collections at the Royal Ontario Museum,
 where he has worked for over thirty years. He began his career there as a t
 ree-climbing nest finder (!) and has since broadened his skills to include
 not only collections manager but also field researcher, public speaker and
 interpreter, nature photographer, and gallery developer. Applying his deep
 knowledge of Ontario ornithology, Mark has also worked for many years on th
 e Ontario Bird Records Committee. \n\nMark will speak to the joint meeting
 of the Simcoe County nature clubs. His interest in natural history has not
 only formed his career work, but he has also been engaged in many citizen s
 cience initiatives, most recently with the opportunities afforded by the in
 ternet and its capacity for storing great quantities of citizen-generated s
 ightings and other data.\n
