What: Barrie Christmas Bird Count.

To participate in the Christmas Bird Count, contact Chris Evans (705) 722-1136. Participants must register with Chris no later than December 8th. Chris will then distribute participants (Both beginners and experts) among 9 groups, each with a leader. The group leaders will establish their meeting points. These teams of birders will then survey a section within a 7.5-mile radius of Barrie and record individual numbers and species of birds during the day of the 17th. This is one of the most exciting and fun events of the year!!!
Potluck Dinner after the Count
Where: Dinner will be held at Northwest Barrie United Church Hall, 464 Ferndale Drive North, Barrie
When: Doors open at 6 pm
A potluck supper will be held after the count at the Northwest Barrie United Church. The doors open at 6:00 p.m., meal will commence at 6:30 p.m. After dinner the team results of the census will be presented to the membership.
Bring a dish for our Pot Luck Supper. Contact Christine Beggs (705) 721-6842 for Pot Luck queries. (It always works out!) Bring your own plate and cutlery and a contribution to the supper.
