This will be a 2 part walk. We will spend about 45 minutes birding the park surrounding our meeting place, then we will drive to the north side of the lake for a 21/2 - 3 hour hike observing mid-spring wildflowers and forest birds. This will be a sampling of a small part of the 600 + acres of city parkland around Little Lake. This is a hike of medium difficulty. |

TRIPS
A number of BFNC members have volunteered their time and expertise to bring you a great outdoor trip program. As usual we have some old favourites and some really exciting new ones. Although birds are a focus there will be something for every interest. Please join them in exploring the natural history of Simcoe county. MEETINGS
All regular meetings are held at Northwest Barrie United Church, 464 Ferndale Drive North, Barrie and start at 7:00pm.. Meetings are held in the Westennial Hall at the back of the church. Park in the big lot off Horsfield Drive..
